How it's built
Bandishein is a good example of our search & indexing work applied to a genuinely niche dataset.
Built natively in Java for Android, Bandishein runs on a pre-populated, indexed database covering 500+ bandishes across 386 raagas and 40 taals — searchable by raaga, taal, tempo or lyric text without a network round-trip. Monetized with AdMob, and built to support Play Console's Data Safety and deletion-request requirements from day one.
Bandishein is live on Google Play — or get in touch if you're building something similarly niche.
