Inside the app
The whole app is built around a single moment: finding a line, then sending it somewhere, without friction in between.
Every line shown with the star who said it, the original Hindi, and an English translation underneath.
Tap a line and it opens full-screen with one-tap Share and Copy — no extra menus in the way.
Song lyrics use the identical detail view as dialogues — one consistent pattern across the whole app.
Latest movies, alphabetically, by celebrity, or by release year — whichever matches how you remember it.
Gold-on-maroon, cinema marquee styling throughout — it looks like what it is, a Bollywood app.
How it's built
Bollywood Adda is a good example of building for a content-heavy, high-sharing use case.
Built natively in Java for Android, Bollywood Adda runs on an indexed local database of dialogues and lyrics, searchable by movie, celebrity, year or latest releases, with native Android share intents wired to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, X, Telegram, email and SMS. Monetized with AdMob, migrated to AndroidX, and built to support Play Console's Data Safety requirements.
Bollywood Adda is live on Google Play — or get in touch if you're building something in a similar content-and-sharing space.
